Unleaded: Who all is in the band?
Sundry: Brian Gauthier-bass/hammered dulcimer, Mike Payne-guitars, Chris Coleman-drums, Mark Gibson -lead vocals
Unleaded: How long have you been together?
Mark: We have been together for about 3 years. We had an original guitarist but he left to pursue his college education, Mike Payne has been with us for around 4 or 5 months.
Unleaded: What are your goals as a band?
Brian: To have God glorified through our music to show kids that God is an exciting God that does awesome things, not a lame God that cares about just a set a rules for you to follow
Mark: My goal for this band is to reach the masses with the music that God has placed on our hearts.
Chris: To reach people and lead them into a real and growing relationship with Christ, and become established in the Christian Music bizz as well
Mike: To be used by God to make a positive difference in the lives of all our listeners, and to be the best band we can be musically
Unleaded: What type of music do you play?
Chris: If Red Hot Chili Peppers had lunch with Sugar Ray and 311 was serving the food, thats our sound
Brian: High energy rock n roll
Unleaded: What is your usual show like?
Mark: Our usual show is jam packed with energy, fun and crowd participation. We believe in sharing the gospel but we also believe in just having a good time while your doing it. There is never a dull moment.
Mike:We definitely attempt to take the audience for a ride both musically and visually
Brian: Very upbeat and crowd oriented. We like to get the crowd into our show. We are also very goofy on stage, but when it is time to get serious, we do.
Chris: The room is bumpin' and the stage is ignited with high intense energy.
Unleaded: Any crazy or interesting show experiances?
Brian: We used to do a pyrotechnics thing on Chris' drum and the fire got a little out of hand and his rug got caught on fire.
Mark: We've set things on fire, I have split my pants, Just things that usually happen, hehe!
Unleaded: What do you think of christian bands going secular?
Mike: I think it's really cool for songs written by Christian bands to reach the secular market. I feel it's a great whitness. But I don't feel that Christian bands "go secular" I feel that God puts them there for a purpose and if they keep their integrity as Christians in the secular market then what's the problem. Jesus' ministry was to the lost and this is an obvious parallel
Brian: I think that if they keep God first in what they do and they still show that through their music and actions, then Christian bands going secular is the best way to win souls for God because you are going to them.
Chris: As long as they are doing what God wants them to do, then more power to them. God can use people everywhere and anyhow He wants to. He is a colorful God.
Mark: As long as they dont compromise what they say and do about Christ, I'm down, go for it. The minute you start compromising God is when he can decide to use someone else, and I want to be used by him.
Unleaded: What is one thing you'd like to say to the world?
Mark: Get a grip, medicine isnt the healer, people arent the healers, the healer is Christ Jesus.
Brian: Being a Christian is not seeing how good you can be in front of everyone else, and then doing something wrong to then be called a hypocrite......Being a Christian is having a relationship with God. You know that you screw up and the awesome thing is that God STILL loves you and you are forgiven if you ask. Being a Christian is experiencing God through listening, having faith, and acting on that faith.
Chris: Let Love Rule
Mike:What's so funny about peace love and understanding?
