My Spacecoaster- s/t EP
There is a time when a band comes along that just totally rocks out some
emotional and inspiring songs. My Spacecoaster does just that. While not
quite being emo, or so much rock or pop, My Spacecoaster layers dreamy
guitars with pleading vocals. The lyrics are very poetic and Christ-centered
(which, unfortunately, you don't see much in the Christian underground now).
The lyrics deal mainly with seeking God, glorying Him, and giving thanks for
taking our burdens. "Furtive" really touched me with the very honest lyrics:
"I kill You everyday/ when I tie You down/ it was me who drove the nails in
your wrists/ it was me who drove the nail in Your feet/ it was me who put
the crown on Your head/ it was me." The build-up in the song is very
emotional and passionate screams are echoed in the chorus. My Spacecoaster
is a roller coaster of emotion that you don't want to miss.
