How did the band get started? Matt was in another band....that his parents didn't like so much.....so he left that band...and taught his brother how to play bass and then went from there......-wes
What is your goal as a band? To let everyone know that JESUS died for them/loves them and that it doesn't matter what you have done or what you look like and to speak whatever GOD has for us....to say. Also to show the joy He has given us, last but not least to Glorify Him.
What style do you play? we play what people today call ska. I agree its ska, but not ordinary ska...like you hear everyday. i have to say we dont sound like any other ska band out today. you be the judge...hahaha-wes
What is the music scene like in your area? There really isn't much of a scene here.(Christian or Non-Christian) When we play intown kids come and its cool and all , but i wouldn't say there's a scene.-wes
What are your plans for a second album? Ummmmmm not sure..we have a totally different sound than on the last album,there won't be any slow songs on this album and there are emo(not whinny emo) and punk influences, alot more breakdowns...and a swing song. it will be better than the first album...we all think so.-wes
What bands influence your band? lots.....the style of music we listen to....keeps getting broader. so on the new album....you will be in for a treat. -wes
What kind of a ministry does the band have? Our Ministry is to live it on stage and Off, Giving GOD all the Glory. We just open ourselves up to Him and do/say what He puts on our hearts.-wes
If you had the choice, which band would you tour with? World Against World-Eric Haas. No Compromise,Johnny respect, 3Alarm Fire, Honey Locust, last but not least Stryper -wes. Honey Locust-Skuter.
Any interesting concert experiances or funny/weird stories? I wore a pair of Waders for an entire show-Eric Haas. One night we were in South Carolina at Checkers. Shawn and Marco were around back messing around. Shawn had to go to the bathroom. in the Back of some places were they lock the bathroom the have buttons that you push to get someone to let you into the bathroom. Shawn saw this button that said Shot Input on it. He(Shawn) asked marco "What is this button for?" Marco said "I think its to get someone back here to let you in the bathroom. Just Push it, what's the worst that can happen." So shawn Pushed. He shut the all the power in Checkers down. Hahaha.....-wes
Do you ever play cover songs? Not anymore, we used to. Some might come lerking out soon,who knows... -wes
Best and worst things about being in a band? Traveling to places we would never get to go if we weren't in the band. Meeting lots of great people....But the Best thing to me is seeing peoples lives changed,seeing people come to JESUS or back to him.-wes
