Ionic Records Spring Sampler

Boasting 23 songs in 73 minutes, this cd promises a lot - and stays true to that. Big Al's Swing Kids kick it off with their singalong lyrics and pure swing sounds. The Walter Eugenes follow with an alternative sound that reminds me of DC Talk. Next, the Skavangelists keep it going with their awesome skacore - you'll be singing 'ska...ska....ska' for weeks. The Zoo Babies add to the variety with their emoish-alternative sound. Is emoish a word? Happily Ever After adds to the great swing tracks on the disc. Cyber Halo is true to their name with what I like to call computer music. The Skamatics add some humor with ''To Shy To Skank." No Laughing Matter adds some dark gothic-like music to the mix. Torn and Omega Highway keep the dark trend going with a lil hard rock. Then The Life Savers show off their unique rock and roll. Nest up, The Mustard Seeds bring a sound which reminds me off PFR. All Access keeps it going with their demo, "Rock and Roll Show." Counsel of Fools and Mirkwood finish it up with some softer alternative stuff. Buy this cd. yes.
