Hiding Remington
Unleaded: So who all is in the band and what is one thing we don't need to know about each?
Hiding Remington:
Mark (guitar, vocals) - Breaks everything he touches
Grant (drums, vocals) - Is anal
Ryan (bass) - Has no rhythm
Unleaded: How long have you guys been a band?
Hiding Remington: About a year and a half.
Unleaded: As a band, what are your main goals?
Hiding Remington: Spread the Gospel, Serve God, and to Rock you like the real thang!
Unleaded: What's your weirdest show experience?
Hiding Remington: There was this pop show and a band canceled at the last minute so they asked us to play and it was REALLY bad. The experience was very odd.
Unleaded: Any CDs out -- or plans for any?
Hiding Remington: We're working on one right now, but its taking a while to get it done. We have one song completely done and we should get the rest done soon. It will be about a five song demo.
Unleaded: How would you describe your music?
Hiding Remington: Hardcore Punk/Oi. We switch off our sound with each song a lot, simply because we have so many different influences. Grant is big into Hardcore (Training for Utopia , Living Sacrifice), Mark loves Living End and Ryan is all about Rancid. So its all that thrown together. We really lean toward the Hardcore more though, or at least lately.
Unleaded: OK, here's some word associations......put down the first thing you think of for each word.
Hiding Remington:
Y2K = Yes to Kia
Techno = Butt
Al Gore = Monkey
Coke vs. Pepsi = grant: COKE!!! Mark: PEPSI!!! Ryan: huh?
Unleaded: If you had the chance to play with any 5 bands, which bands would you pick?
Hiding Remington: Rancid, One 21, The Living End, (Old) Training for Utopia, Dropkick Murphy's
Unleaded: What is one thing you would like to tell the world?
Hiding Remington: "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of all knowledge," and "all is vanity and grasping for the wind." LIVE FOR SOMETHING MORE THAN YOURSELVES!
