Grade -- "Triumph and Tragedy

I guess that if you had to pick just one catagory for this band to fit into, it would be punk. But with an edge. The vocals have a hardcore feel to them though. This 3 song cd is just a small taste of the coolness that will come with their full length release (which was scheduled to come out in July).
The first song, ''Triumph and Tragedy'' has the above described punk with hard vocals. ''Stolen Bikes Ride Faster'' is a little more toned down, but still hard. The final track, ''Panama (written by Van Halen)'' has kind of an 80's feel to it, with a nice touch of hardcore-ish vocals. This secular punk band from Canada really impressed me. Go check 'em out.
