After hearing the first compilation cd from Fun With Dirt Records, "The Greatest Bands You've Never Heard", my expectations were high for the second compilation. And I got my wish. FWD2, "Songs You'll Like If You Have Good Taste" is amazing. The cd starts out with Sick Shift, a California punk band with sounds similar to those of NOFX. Next is Lucky 7, a band that has been doing very well on Mp3.com's punk charts. Don't Look Down is another fine punk band, check out the review of their cd here on Unleaded and then go buy it :) SKG's song "Enemy" and Fairview's "Letting Go" are two of the best songs on the cd. And I can't leave out Ballydowse, Chicago's celtic oi-punk band, the best of it's kind. One of the things that's great about this cd, is that every song is good, so you can just put it into the cd player and let it run. Also, the production and sound quality is great, unlike the poor, uneven quality of so many other comps. Anyways, go get this cd - you won't regret it, I promise you.
