QUANTITY IS JOB 1.........FIVE IRON FRENZY
(Sarabellum)
though quantity may not be the case, quality is.
with eight songs, a rock opera and an extra track,
five iron frenzy's new ep, "quantity is job 1" has
a lot of good stuff. "my evil plan to save the world"
is about people who think we can plan things better
than God can. "dandelions"
is a song that just may put a lump in your throat.
with lyrics like: "more than words could warrant/deeper
than the darkest blue/more than sacrifice could
merit/Lord, i give my heart to You." another highlight
would be "sweet talkin' woman" originally by the
electric light orchestra. "the untimely death of brad"
is a sad, sad song about the death of their trumpet
player, brad, who is actually very much alive. the rock opera,
"these are not my pants" is eight tracks each about
pants. it's hilarious. the overall sound
of the album isn't too much different than their last
album, "our newest album ever!" but this one definitely
has more bgv's though. it's an awesome cd. buy it.
