"All The Hype That Money Can Buy"
Five Iron Frenzy

Well, now they are popular and famous. Not just sort of popular. I'm talking sell-out popular. I wonder if FIF ever had this in mind? And maybe you wonder how a ska band with a weird, yet attractive sense of humor can become so loved by both the Christian and mainstream music world. Here's a theory:

1. Take 8 slap happy people with bizarre sense of humor
2. Take their incredibal musical talents
3. Give them plenty of caffeine (or something) at 4 in the morning
4. Don't forget the pen and paper
And you have a recipe for surpising success.

And the sounds off their newest album, "All of the Hype that Money Can Buy" hit the stores with plenty of success too. But that wasn't much of a suprise. Nor what was on the CD. But, fellow Five Iron fans, you won't be disappointed. You'll hear awesome music "scores", if your in the right mood you may laugh out loud at a couple of songs, and their music is still high energy and perfect for dancing or skanking to, whatever you prefer. :-) Their songs don't seem quite as hilarious as some of the past ones, but "All of the Hype" still has some funny ones. If you like a broad range of music styling and lyrics, go get the CD. FIF seems to have picked up some Spanish sounding...um, i don't know what you want to call it...influences? And don't forget their stirring song dedicated to Columbine H.S.
Once again, FIF has put in a not suprising, but perfect blend of seriousness, good humor, and awesome music to make this CD a classic. (some day)
