How did the band get started? Well, honestly we began as a ska band, but decided to go punk after our horns decided not to join. We got together when Candice and I decided we wanted to start a band, and Will is our 3rd bass player now. Shannon was a good friend of Candice. Our drummer left a while back, so we're lookin for a new one.
What is your goal as a band? Our goal is to spread the word of Christ through our music, and have a good time doing it. Hopefully play some cool shows, and get to play with some cool bands.
What style do you play? Punk Rock with an MxPx or Slick Shoes style
Where are you guys from? I'm from Park Ridge, and everyone else is from Berwyn.
What is the music scene like in your area? In Park Ridge there is no music scene. Berwyn is home of Bedlam Records, that I know. If you mean Chicago, there are some great bands out there like Nifty 50, and 5 Men Down to name a few.
What bands influence your band? As I mentioned before, probably MxPx and Slick Shoes. Candice has a thing for the Smashing Pumpkins though.
What kind of a ministry does the band have? Well, basically we want to let God speak through our lyrics, and be available to talk to and stuff whenever someone has something on their mind or whatever.
If you had the choice, which band would you tour with? Good question, I think most of our band would say the Insyderz or Five Iron Frenzy, and I would probably be inclined to agree.
Any interesting concert experiances or funny/weird stories? Well, we played a show for 4 people in the living room of a house.
Do you ever play cover songs? Yeah, we've worked on some MxPx
Best and worst things about being in a band? Arguments and finding time to practice are the worst. I would have to say that actually being at practice and watching things work, and also just having fun with bandmates is the best.
Anything people should know about the band? We love Jesus Christ, and thats the main reason why we're in this.
