The 13th Tribe

Wow. I am totally impressed with this Jesus-lovin' ska band! Their four song demo is awesome. They kick it off with ''The Weather Ain't So Nice in Hell'' which is pretty self explanatory I think. Next up is ''Awesome God.'' Don't worry though, it is much different from the Insyderz version. For one thing, it contains the verses, instead of just the chorus. "The Legalism Song" presents the awesome line "shut the door on the devil / and let the rudeboys run free'' which rawks! "River of Life" is that sunday school song which has now turned cool. This ska version rules.
As for the overall sound of the tape, it could be better, and the 8-piece band isn't as tight as it could be. But all in all, I loved the band. I loved the music. Get the tape. Enjoy.
